Hello loves, hope you’re staying home and staying positivE, the best thing about quarantine is that you have the time to do your own DIY beauty masks and as promised on my last my quarantine life blog I’m sharing with you my DIY beauty masks I swear by for a youthful, glowing skin you can also check my beauty post for a healthy youthful skin in your using natural products, I know my masks work on all skin types, knowing that I have very sensitive skin so I’m always very careful with what I put on my face.
2 tsps yougart
1 tsp honey
1 tsp wheat bran
1 small tsp or few drops coconut oil ( optional)
Mix together and put the paste on your face till it dries rinse by exfoliating then running water
Your face will be moistrized, exfoliated, clean, also it removes black heads, great as an anti wrinkles mask.
Egg lemon face mask
1 egg ( yolk) or white
Few drops olive oil
Mix together and put on your face till it dries ( better don’t eat or talk till it dries as the mask helps in firming, tightens the skin and minimizes the appearance of pores and lines), Whether you use the entire egg, just the white, or the yolk alone, you can mix it with other natural ingredients to create face masks that hydrate, brighten, tighten, and wash your face with water and tone with rose water for the best results.
Use twice a week
Frankincense water DIY tonic
Half cup of filtered water
Soak frankincense in the water for 1day before use then, use a cotton to wipe the mask on ur face(in the morning or night or both) leave it on your face for an hour then rinse it.
Fights face wrinkles decrease the visible lines and pores, moisturizes and, tightens skin. You can also drink it
Coffee Face scrub and Mask
- 1 tsps coffee
- 1 tsps cocoa
- 1 tsps coconut oil
- Take a bowl and mix the coffee and cocoa powder. Add coconut oil to it to form a paste. Apply the paste on your face and neck.
- Allow it to dry for 15-30 minutes. Then gently remove it by exfoliating with cold water. Pat dry.
- The mask smoothens the face and reduces the fine lines on it. It clears the skin by removing dead skin cells.
- Use once a week
Cucumber Face Mask
- Half a cucumber
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- Grind the cucumber and add lemon juice to it. Apply it on your face and let it stay for 10-20 minutes.
- Rinse the mask with cold water.
The mask contains enzymes that work on your skin to make it look younger and brighter. It also refreshes the skin and lemon reduces skin pigmentation and even skin discoloring or dark spots.
